Hosted by the Research and Consulting Center of Benghazi University, the Scientific Journals Follow-up Committee held its eighth meeting of the year on Thursday morning.

The attendees discussed several items aimed at supporting international publishing at Benghazi University, as well as supporting and developing scientific journals. Among the most important topics discussed was the progress of the International Journals Indexing Team, as well as the steps to implement the committee’s strategic plan for 2023.

Attendees also discussed ways to support the editorial boards of scientific journals and develop the electronic journal platforms on Benghazi University’s Scientific Journals platform. This is considered of utmost importance for indexing scientific journals in international databases such as Scopus.
