Hosted by the Research and Consultation Center at The University of Benghazi, the Scientific Journals Monitoring Committee held its seventh meeting for the year 2023.

The attendees discussed several agenda items, including the request to establish a new scientific journal at The University of Benghazi. They also reviewed the reports of the monitoring and auditing teams affiliated with the committee, as well as international publications by The University.

Additionally, the attendees discussed the progress of the scientific journals indexing team at Benghazi University in international databases, including the Scopus database. The committee’s strategic plan was also presented, and the main obstacles to its implementation were discussed.
